Frequently Asked Questions

How often do I need to visit your office?

Even if you don’t think anything is necessarily wrong with your teeth, you should be visiting our office every six months for a checkup and cleaning. Frequent appointments help us to keep tooth decay, gum disease, and other harmful problems at bay.

What is my best option for tooth replacement?

If you have lost one or more teeth, we have several options for replacement. The crown and bridge are traditional methods, but nothing replaces teeth better than dental implants. The method that’s right for you depends on your oral and overall health as well as your budget and personal smile goals.

Do I need a root canal?

You need a root canal when tooth decay has reached the pulp, or interior, of your tooth. You probably won't be able to tell if you need one on your own, though. It’s best to call your dentist anytime you have a persistent toothache or sensitivity.

Should I get porcelain veneers?

If you have imperfect front teeth that are otherwise healthy, porcelain veneers can be a terrific option. They cover up cosmetic flaws to improve the size, shape, and overall appearance of the teeth that show when you smile.

How long does treatment with Invisalign, clear braces for adults and teens, take?

The average Invisalign treatment lasts about 12 months, but each case depends on the severity of the misalignment.

What do I do if my tooth gets knocked out?

Call us immediately! Seeking emergency attention after the loss of one or more teeth is crucial to saving the tooth and relieving your pain. Collect the tooth and keep it moist (either in the cheek or in a cup of milk/water) until you can reach our office.

What does Botox have to do with dentistry?

As a full-service dental office, we strive to provide our patients with a full range of treatments for a beautiful, healthy face and smile. Botox is one of them. Additionally, it’s the only treatment approved by the FDA as a preventive treatment for migraines and headaches.

"Let's just say I don't have the best teeth and have developed a fear of the dentist, but this office is amazing! Everyone there is kind, caring, really understanding! Dr Natalia is very gentle and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and are taken care of. I would recommend this place to any one especially if you are scared of the dentist, because they will change that for you!"

Yudanis G., Fort Lauderdale, FL

“As a kid I had a dentist who wasn't very nice. I never liked going to the dentist but this office is different. An all-female gentle, compassionate staff makes you feel welcome and there is never any pain. Last time I was in I almost fell asleep while Dr Benda worked on my teeth.

Rick G., Margate, FL
